Dee-Mack Chiefs head to Chicago Illinois for a 1st round playoff game against Chicago Crane Medical. The Chiefs will be driving two hours and twenty minutes to play at Knute Rockne Stadium this Saturday at 4:15PM.

The Dee-Mack Chiefs have made it a tradition going to the playoffs for the past 6 years and a total amount of 53 appearances. The Chiefs are coming off a 3 game win streak including beating the #7 state ranked class 2a Ridge/Lex Mustangs. Last week the Chiefs took a 2 hour drive south to face Kelly (MO) and won 50-13, with Shaun Denniston having another great game recording 4 touchdowns and 200+ rushing yards. This win improved the Chiefs to 6-3 with a lot of momentum behind that. ¨We want to bring a home playoff game to our community,¨ says starting quarterback Zack Day.
Chicago Crane is 7-2 and coming off a 34-20 win over Collins Academy/Manley high school. Crane lost their first two games of the season but since then have won seven straight. They ended the regular season winning the Chicago Public West conference. Crane definitely will look to use their home field advantage to move on to the 2nd round.
This game is highly anticipated as both Crane and the Chiefs have their best teams in the past couple of years. Despite playing away, Dee-Mack seems determined to pull off an upset and bring a home game to their fans as Crane looks to defend their home territory and make their winning streak go up one.
