Kinley Keehnen is a senior in high school. She plays on the volleyball team as a defensive specialist. In her free time, she enjoys cooking and hanging out with her friends. She wants to pursue a career in culinary arts. Her favorite dish to cook is lasagna. She loves to travel. She wants to go to Jamaica because of her love for the sun and beaches. English with Mrs. Thompkins is her favorite hour of the school day. In journalism, she is excited to cover student life because she wants to interview people and feature the student section. Kinley says she chose to take journalism because writing and speaking through articles is a great way to express yourself and other people. One piece of advice Kinley has taken from the past few years is, “Don’t take things too seriously, and have fun while doing it.”
