Animal Alive
Fly out the door wanting to win,
My outfit is like a second skin.
Looking like a blur, a smear,
I do this dance 365 days a year.
Running down the streets,
Exclaiming hurried hellos to those I meet.
I’ve put on the face and I’m ready to go,
Enjoying an adrenaline high and I don’t wanna get low.
Sly as a Fox,
Grin like a Jackal,
Wonderful Wolfish features,
A whole mess of creatures!
Soles hit gravel,
Physical travel.
A natural radical,
an absolute animal!
My morale is never going to take a dive
Because I’m an Animal Alive.
