The 2025 Chicago Bears are 9-3 headed into week 14; this is their best start since 2018. Chicago started the season 0-2 looking to be another rough season, but new head coach Ben Johnson has brought them together leading them to 5 straight wins. Ben Johnson was the offense coordinator for the Detroit Lions last year who went 15-2. He was the best candidate for a head coaching job because he was an offensive guru who helped the Lions have their best season in franchise history.
Second year quarterback Caleb Williams who was the number one pick in 2024 has led this team to the number one seed in the NFC. The Bears have one of the best O lines in the league with additions from the off-season like Joe Thuney. Rookie TE Colston Loveland has also been a big part of this turnaround. Chicago has many explosive skill players like Rome Odunze, Dj Moore, and a 2 punch combo in the backfield Deandre Swift and rookie Kyle Monangai. The Bears latest win was their best win of the season, beating the Eagles in Philadelphia. Many people are saying this is a statement win for the bears.
Chicago’s defense has been thriving all season leading the league in takeaways with Nashon Wright having 8 takeaways with 5 picks and 3 fumbles. They have had some injuries throughout the season with Jaylon Johnson being out for most of the season but returning last week against the Eagles. This week they face the Packers at home at 3:25pm on Sunday and the Bears are looking to get their 6th straight and stay on top of the division.
