Looking for something to do this Saturday? November 9th, 2024, Deer Creek Mackinaw Intermediate School will be hosting the 72nd annual Pancake and Sausage Supper!
Tickets are able to be bought at dmispancake.com for $11.00 per person and kids under the age of four eat FREE! Students at the intermediate school are starting to sell tickets as of now so be on the lookout for them! The pancake and sausage breakfast is available from 12pm to 7pm that day.
Tickets are required to get your meal unless you are able to show proof you bought some (so I’d recommend you just bring your ticket with you). The tickets bought online can be picked up the day of, right before you step into the sweet smelling gym to receive your dinner! Dinners are available for takeout or you can sit down and eat in the gym at the available tables and chairs to enjoy your food. After you finish eating, you can head into the cafeteria to enter some raffle drawings, buy baked goods, and participate in the silent auction.
The website, dmispancake.com, also offers an option of pre ordering sausage to take home as well. The cost of raw sausage is $6.50/lb but cooked is a little more expensive at $9.50/lb. Something interesting about this breakfast is that it is almost all volunteer work!
There are adults, teens, and sometimes even kids who volunteer to make this event possible. It requires almost two hundred volunteers in order to have the supper move smoothly. Don’t forget to come by and claim one of the 358 seats available in the team!
