The Student Council Blood Drive is hosted annually and is open to the full Deer Creek- Mackinaw Community. Dee-Mack Student Council members, led by co-presidents Rachel Paddock and Abby Smith, play a large role in making this happen. Student council keeps things running smoothly by assisting both the workers and nurses in the blood drive by unloading the truck, and keeping the space calm and clean. Rachel Paddock explains that a large part of the student councils’ job in the blood drive is to help the blood donors feel comfortable in the environment by giving them water and snacks to refuel after giving blood. This blood drive has been taking place at the school for over 10 years.
This is an annual event, so if you missed your chance this time around… check back in for 2025!
