ATTENTION JUNIORS
As all of you Juniors know, you have an important test coming up. A lot of students believe that ACT scores won’t matter for college, aren’t important in general, aren’t a reflection of real intelligence, etc. While colleges aren’t directly looking at a test score to determine whether or not you get accepted into a college, your ACT score does have potential to help you a lot. It’s important to take this test seriously, because getting a higher than average score can mean receiving money for an academic scholarship and extra recognition for colleges. You’re going to take this test and sit in a gym for hours no matter what, so you might as well take it seriously and put in the effort to get a high score. Each session will contain information on the overall test layout/design, types of questions you should expect to see, and critical test taking strategies to be efficient and maximize the time given for each test. Here are the confirmed test review sessions that are available TO ALL JUNIORS.
3/6- Reading prep from 6-8 pm
3/14- Math prep during fast friday
3/18- Science prep from 6-8pm
4/3- Review session from 1:30-3:30pm
Teachers running these prep sessions will be Ms. Thompkins, Mrs. Mac, Mr. Reiman, and Mrs. Uner, so see them or Mr. Holmgren for any questions that you might have.
